Lasagne
Lasagne is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 2 hours 2 minutes. Made with . ground chuck or italian sausage, garlic, minced, . dried basil, . salt and (16 oz.) can tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat.
Add garlic, basil, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste.
Simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles in large amount of boiling salted water until tender; drain and rinse.
Beat eggs and add remaining ingredients except Mozzarella.
Layer half the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Spread with half the Ricotta filling.
Add half the cheese, then half the meat sauce.
Repeat layers, reversing the last two.
Bake at 375Β° about 30 minutes, or until cheese on top is golden.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
