Lasagne
Lasagne is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 lb. lean ground beef, 1 to 2 jars or cans of your favorite spaghetti sauce, 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce, onion (if desired) and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Brown beef and drain off fat.
I cook mine in a 350° oven with water about 30 minutes.
Put beef, after salting with garlic salt, in a large saucepan.
Add jars of sauce, tomato sauce and paste.
Let simmer on stove.
Boil water with salt added; put oil in at same time as noodles.
Boil 10 to 13 minutes; drain water off of noodles.
In 13 x 9-inch (at least) pan, layer sauce, cheese (mix eggs with cottage cheese), shredded cheese and Parmesan cheese.
It makes about 2 layers.
Don't put final layer of cheese until a few minutes before removing from oven or it will burn.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
