Lasagna
Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 medium can whole tomatoes, 1 small jar prego spaghetti sauce, 1 pkg. italian sausage and 1/2 c. dry red wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a large boiler 3/4 full of water, boil 8 lasagna noodles; let boil for 20 minutes.
In large skillet, brown onion, ground beef and Italian sausage.
Add pepper and salt.
Drain off all the oil from the meat.
Add 1/2 cup of wine and the oregano.
Turn heat on low; let simmer for 10 minutes.
Add can of whole tomatoes and sauce; simmer for 10 minutes.
