Landfill Cake
Landfill Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 can cherry pie filling, 1 box white or yellow cake mix (do not mix), 1/2 c. nuts (optional) and 1/2 lb. (1 stick) butter, cut in patties, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Grease cake pan.
Pour pineapple and pie filling in cake pan. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over top.
Sprinkle nuts (if using) over top.
Place butter patties all over top.
