Krispies
Krispies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed and 1/2 c. white sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 300Β°.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and soda.
Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.
In a large bowl, blend sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed.
Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste.
Add egg and vanilla.
Beat at medium speed until fully combined.
Add flour mixture, rice cereal and chocolate chunks.
Blend at low speed until combined. Do not overmix.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Immediately transfer cookies to a cool, flat surface.
