Kolachi
Kolachi is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 c. lukewarm milk, 4 tbsp. sugar, pinch of salt and 4 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Melt oleo and cool.
Put yeast and sugar in large bowl.
Add warm milk and mix.
Let stand about 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients in order given.
Mix well.
If tacky, add a little more flour.
Knead for 5 minutes on a floured board.
Cut in four pieces and form four balls.
Knead each ball for 3 minutes and set in lightly floured bowl.
Cover with a heavy towel.
