King Alphonse is an easy dinner. Made with 2 oz. yuban instant coffee, 1 vanilla bean, 4 c. sugar, 2 c. boiling water and 1 pt. whiskey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix water, coffee and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved. Cool to room temperature.
Add whiskey and split vanilla bean lengthwise and cut into small pieces.
Place in large jar and store in dark place 10 days.
Shake once a day.
Serve in small glass with a little cream on top.
