Kathryn'S Buns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. very warm water, 2 pkg. yeast, 1 1/2 c. warm water, 1/3 c. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix first two ingredients and set aside ten minutes.
Beat remaining ingredients with electric mixer.
Add yeast water mixture and beat.
Then add 4 to 5 cups flour.
Knead until it isn't sticky.
Let stand 20 to 30 minutes.
Shape into loaves or make rolls.
Let double and bake at 400Β° about 15 to 20 minutes.
