Kate's Shortbread
Kate'S Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 2 c. butter (approximately 1 lb.), 3 c. white flour, sifted, 1 c. cornstarch and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream together sugar and butter.
Sift the flour into separate bowl; stir in (with fork) the cornstarch and salt.
Mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture, about 1 cup dry at a time, until smooth.
Roll into ball, then either roll out, cut with cookie cutter or pat into pan.
Pierce top well with fork.
Bake at 325Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Do not brown.
