Kansas Dirt Cake
Kansas Dirt Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Made with large pkg. oreos, (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, c. butter or margarine, c. powdered sugar and large carton whipped topping, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Crush cookies and put half of crumbs in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix softened cream cheese and butter until smooth with mixer.
Mix in powdered sugar.
Fold in whipped topping.
In a separate bowl, mix pudding, milk and vanilla.
Fold cream cheese mixture and pudding mixture together.
Pour in a pan over cookie crumbs. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
Chill.
This can also be frozen and served either frozen or chilled.
