June Layer Salad
June Layer Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with lettuce, 3/4 c. celery, 1/2 c. green pepper, 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced and 1 bag uncooked frozen baby peas, cooked for 1 minute, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut lettuce enough to cover bottom of casserole.
Mix mayonnaise and sugar together.
Layer lettuce, celery, pepper, onion and peas.
Spread mayonnaise over the peas.
Cover with cheese.
Sprinkle bacon bits on top.
Cover with Glad Wrap and let set overnight.
Beat if made a day ahead.
Enjoy.
