Juicy Apple Crisp is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. jonathan apples, cored and thinly sliced, 1/4 c. granulated sugar, 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour, divided, 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided and 6 tbsp. margarine or butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Generously coat a 9 x 9-inch baking dish with margarine.
Place apple slices in large bowl.
Sprinkle with sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
Toss to coat, then pour into baking dish.
In medium bowl, combine margarine, remaining 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon cinnamon and nutmeg until crumbly.
Stir in oats.
Sprinkle over apples, making sure edges are covered.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender.
