Jug Pickles
Jug Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 gal. cucumbers (about 18), 6 to 8 onions, 3 1/2 c. sugar, 3 c. vinegar and 1/3 c. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Wash and slice onions and cucumbers.
Mix remaining ingredients to make syrup.
Put onions and cucumbers in jug and pour syrup over top.
Mix well and put in refrigerator.
Next day, take out of refrigerator and shake well.
Repeat this for 6 days.
On the 7th day, they may be eaten.
Pickles must be refrigerated.
