Jewish Apple Cake
Jewish Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 large apples, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 4 tbsp. sugar, 2 c. sugar and 1 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Peel and slice apples.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and 4 tablespoons sugar; set aside.
In large bowl, mix 2 cups sugar and oil.
Add eggs, vanilla and juice of orange.
Mix together.
Add flour and baking powder.
Mix thoroughly.
Put 1/2 of batter in greased tube pan (not Bundt pan) and add 1/2 of apple mixture. Cover with remaining batter and top with rest of apples.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
