Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. sifted flour, 3/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Beat eggs in mixing bowl.
Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is thick.
Sift dry ingredients together; fold into egg mixture.
Turn onto shallow pan lined with waxed paper.
Use a 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan.
Bake for approximately 13 minutes at 425Β°. Cut edges off cake; turn onto a clean cloth.
Remove waxed paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Spread cake with jelly or other fillings.
Starting with small end, roll cake; wrap in clean towel and let cool.
