Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, separated, 1 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. hot water, 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. flour, sifted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff, not dry.
Set aside.
Using same beaters but different bowl, beat yolks until lemon colored.
Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat well.
Add hot water. Beat and then add other 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla. Beat well.
Slowly add dry ingredients until well blended.
Fold in whites carefully until no white shows.
Grease jelly roll pan and line with wax paper on bottom. Pour dough in pan and spread evenly.
Bake 20 minutes at 350Β° until brown.
