Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. sugar, powdered sugar and 3/4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Combine baking powder, salt and eggs. Add sugar.
Beat until mixture becomes thick and light colored.
Fold in flour and vanilla.
Turn into 15 x 10-inch pan lined with greased brown paper.
Bake at 400Β° for 13 minutes.
Turn cake onto towel dusted with powdered sugar.
Remove paper.
Cut off crisp edges of cake. Roll cake and towel together.
Cool 10 minutes.
Unroll.
Remove towel.
Spread cake with jelly and roll again.
Yields 8 servings.
