Jello Cookies
Jello Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening-part butter, 1/2 c. sugar, 3 oz. pkg. jello, any flavor, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix shortening with sugar and Jello.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir together flour, baking powder and salt, add to Jello mixture.
Add food coloring.
The food coloring should match the flavor of the cookie: lime = green, lemon = yellow, cherry = red.
Mix until well combined.
The flavor of the Jello you use is the flavor of your cookies.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Press with the bottom of a glass that has been buttered and dipped in sugar.
Bake at 400Β° for 6 to 8 minutes.
