Jeff's Beef Stew
Jeff'S Beef Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 beef roast, 6 to 8 potatoes, 2 to 3 carrots, fresh mushrooms and 2 c. chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cut beef roast into 1/2-inch cubes.
Place cubes in skillet with 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine until brown.
Add the beef seasoning and Open Pit barbecue sauce while browning your meat.
Once meat is browned, place in a crock-pot with water, potatoes, carrots and celery.
Cook on High for 6 to 8 hours.
Add mushrooms and tortellini the last 40 minutes of cooking time.
