Japanese Fruitcake
Japanese Fruitcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 3 c. cake flour and 2 tbsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix together the butter or margarine, sugar, eggs, cake flour, baking powder, milk and vanilla flavoring.
Put 1/2 of batter into 2 round baking pans.
Add cinnamon, ground cloves, nutmeg and raisins.
This will make 2 spice layers.
Bake all layers at 350Β° for 30 minutes or until top springs back.
Let cool completely.
