Jan Hagels
Jan Hagels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, packed, 1 c. margarine, softened, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. all purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream brown sugar and margarine until fluffy.
Blend in salt and flour, after blending in egg yolk and vanilla.
Pat dough into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 pan.
Brush top with egg white.
Sprinkle combined sugar and cinnamon on top of egg white.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake for 15 min. at 350 degrees.
Cut into 1 1/2 in. squares.
