Jambalaya
Jambalaya is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. chaurice, 1 lb. andouille, 1/4 c. diced tasso, 1 onion, chopped and 3 stalks chopped celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Saute the fresh sausage until browned.
Add smoked meats, celery, onion and bell pepper.
Saute until translucent.
Add rice and saute until rice turns milky white.
Add remainder of ingredients and bring to a boil.
Cover and reduce to a simmer. Cook without stirring for 25 minutes.
Taste check for seasoning and toss in green onions.
Cook for 5 minutes more before serving.
