Jam Thumbprints
Jam Thumbprints is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. butter, 1/3 c. sugar, 2 egg yolks, 1 tsp. salt and 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg yolks, vanilla and salt; beat well.
Gradually add flour, mixing well. Shape into 3/4-inch balls; dip in 2 slightly beaten egg whites, then roll in finely chopped walnuts lightly covering ball.
Place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.
Press down center of each ball with thumb.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 17 minutes.
Let cool, then add cherry or strawberry preserves in center.
