Jam Cake
Jam Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. butter, 3 c. cake flour or regular flour, 5 eggs and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Cream butter and sugar.
Add 5 well beaten eggs.
Sift spices, baking powder, cocoa and flour; add alternately with soda-buttermilk mixture to the other ingredients.
Add nuts, raisins, preserves and vanilla to batter.
Bake at 375Β°.
This makes either a four layer cake, or divide and make two cakes according to size of pans.
