Jam Cake
Jam Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 c. sour milk and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 9-inch square pan.
Assemble mixer.
In large mixer bowl, cream butter at setting #4. Gradually add sugar and continue to cream.

Dissolve baking soda in sour milk.
Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with sour milk.
Add jam, mixing until thoroughly combined.
Pour into prepared pan and bake 50 minutes.
