Cream together butter and sugar.
Put soda in buttermilk. Sift dry ingredients together, adding alternately with the buttermilk.
Add eggs; blend and fold in jam and raisins.
Bake in 10-inch tube pan at 350Β° for about 1 or 1 1/2 hours according to your oven.
Test with toothpick.
I always line my pan with greased brown paper sack.
