Jailhouse Rolls
Jailhouse Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. mashed potatoes, 2 1/2 sticks oleo, 4 eggs, 8 1/2 c. flour and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix yeast in water; set aside.
Combine potatoes, oleo, eggs, salt and sugar.
Blend into flour.
Add yeast water; mix thoroughly.
Place in greased bowl, cover with damp cloth.
Place in refrigerator until ready to use.
Roll out like biscuits, cut out and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
Butter tops and let stand for several hours.
Bake at 450Β° for 10 minutes.
