Italian Macaroons
Italian Macaroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. almond paste, 1 c. granulated sugar, 3 egg whites, 2 tbsp. sifted flour and 1/3 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Line aluminum foil on your cookie sheet.
Work the almond paste with your hands.
Then add sugar and egg whites.
Constantly knead.
Now add flour and powdered sugar.
Now add fruit.
Place 1/2 teaspoon of mix on the lined aluminum foil cookie sheet until all the mix is used.
Put in refrigerator overnight.
Next day bake at 300Β° 25 to 30 minutes.
Decorate each cookie with a bright red cherry or green citron.
