Italian Beef
Italian Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 5 lb. arm roast, 1 can beef broth, 1 can beer, 1 jar pepperoncini peppers with juice and salt, pepper, garlic powder, crushed oregano and onion salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Use crock-pot or 9 x 13-inch baking dish covered with foil. Sprinkle both sides with spices (trim excess fat).
Lay peppers on top.
Pour broth, juices and beer; cover.
Bake at 300Β° for 4 hours.
When done, shred meat with fork.
Serve on hard rolls. Crock-pot easiest.
Use 2 roasts and cook all day.
