Indian Rice
Indian Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. sliced celery, 1 tbsp. margarine, 1 1/2 c. water and 2/3 c. uncooked rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Saute onion and celery in melted margarine until tender.
Stir in water, uncooked rice, parsley, bouillon, curry powder, allspice, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Bring to boiling and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Stir in raisins and peanuts.
