Indian Pudding
Indian Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. corn meal, 2 c. hot skim milk, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/8 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. ground ginger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Slowly add corn meal into hot milk, stirring over low heat until thick (15 minutes).
Remove from heat.
Mix sugar, soda and spices and stir into corn meal mixture.
Thoroughly mix in molasses and cold milk.
Pour into 1-quart casserole dish.
Bake at 275Β° for 2 hours.
Serve warm sprinkled with nutmeg.
