Indian Chickpeas

Heat oil.
Add cumin and onions.
Cook 3 minutes.
Add garlic and ginger.
Cook 5 minutes on low heat.
Add turmeric, coriander, cayenne and salt.
Stir; add chopped tomatoes and garam masala. Cook on low heat 10 minutes.
Add chickpeas and lemon juice.
Cook 5 minutes; add potatoes.
Serve over white steamed basmati rice, garnished with chopped green jalapeΓ±o peppers.
