Impossible Beef Enchilada Pie
Impossible Beef Enchilada Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 c. chopped onion, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 tsp. oregano and 1 (8 oz.) jar medium taco sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Grease a 2 x 13-inch casserole thoroughly.
Cook beef in skillet until brown.
Add onion and garlic and cook until limp. Add half of the taco sauce and seasonings.
Cover bottom of casserole with crumbs.
Spread 1/2 cup of shredded cheese over this.
Pour meat mixture over cheese.
Beat eggs, adding milk and Bisquick, and mix thoroughly.
Pour carefully over meat mixture. Bake at 400Β° for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread on the rest of taco sauce and remainder of cheese.
Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese melts.
Let stand a few minutes, then cut into squares.
Serves 6 to 8 generously.
