Icebox Rolls
Icebox Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cake yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 to 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Crumble yeast.
Add warm water (1/2 cup), salt and sugar, then egg and shortening and 2 cups water.
Beat about 2 minutes.
Add flour to make stiff batter and beat 3 minutes.
Mix thoroughly. Place in greased bowl.
Cover with two layers of wax paper.
Place in coldest section of refrigerator.
