Icebox Rolls
Icebox Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm water, 1 c. mashed potatoes, 1 c. water (from cooking water for potatoes), 1/3 c. shortening and 2/3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix together in large bowl, sugar, salt, shortening and hot potato water with potatoes.
Add yeast dissolved in 1 cup warm water.
Let stand for 1 hour.
Add enough flour until the consistency of biscuit dough.
Grease top.
Cover and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
Make rolls 2 hours before baking.
Let rise and bake at 400Β°.
Brush with butter or margarine.
Dough will keep for several days in refrigerator.
