Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water (must not be hot).

Sift flour, salt and sugar into mixing bowl.

Add Crisco and whole egg. Mix together with yeast water.

Cover and put into refrigerator overnight.

Roll dough out about 1-inch thick.

Cut rolls and place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Let rise 3 hours.

Bake in a 375Β° oven for 15 minutes or until nice and brown.

This dough can also be used for cinnamon rolls.

Serves 12.
