Icebox Rolls
Icebox Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 oz. pkg. yeast, 1 c. water, 1 c. milk, 6 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Mix 3/4 cup water, milk, sugar, salt and shortening.
Let cool to lukewarm, then add beaten eggs.
Add yeast, then enough flour to make a stiff dough.
Grease top of dough.
Cover and place in refrigerator.
Let rise about 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
Knead well.
Roll out and cut.
Brush with butter and fold over.
Put in warm place and let rise until double.
Bake at 350° or 375° until brown.
Makes 5 dozen rolls.
