Icebox Rolls
Icebox Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening, 2 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 yeast cake, dissolved in lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Sift flour 4 times.
Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt.
When cooled, add 2 well beaten eggs and yeast.
Last add the flour.
Mix well; let rise until double.
Knead and shape into rolls and let rise again.
Bake at 375Β° until done.
