Icebox Muffins
Icebox Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 2 1/2 tsp. soda, 2 c. kellogg's all bran and 1 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Pour boiling water over 100% bran.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Beat until fluffy.
Stir in buttermilk and bran.
Sift flour, soda and salt.
Add to rest.
Store in refrigerator, tightly covered. Add raisins or dates when baked. Bake 25 minutes in 400Β° oven.
