Icebox Cookies
Icebox Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. melted crisco, 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans and 4 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Sugars and Crisco together well.
Add eggs.
Beat thoroughly.
Add flour, soda, salt and spices which have been sifted together.
Blend well.
Mixture will be very stiff; about 2 1/2-inch rolls and place in refrigerator.
Ready to bake, slice and bake at 375Β° for about 8 minutes.
Bake on greased cookie sheets.
Remove while warm.
Makes at least 5 dozen cookies.
