Icebox Cookies
Icebox Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. melted shortening, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. sugar, 3 eggs, beaten and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs slowly, mixing well. Stir in nuts, then dry ingredients (sifted together twice).
Shape into long roll 2 1/2-inches in diameter.
Put in refrigerator in greased pan overnight.
When ready to bake, slice thin and bake at 350Β° until brown.
