Husband's Favorite Beef Casserole
Husband'S Favorite Beef Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 tsp. salt, pepper to taste, 1/2 tsp. sugar and 1 clove garlic or garlic salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown beef, pour off excess fat.
Add salt, pepper, sugar, garlic, tomato sauce and tomato paste.
Cover, simmer about 15 minutes.
Cook noodles and drain.
Chop part of tops and bottoms on onions, finely.
Mix with cream cheese and sour cream.
Grease baking dish.
Put layers of noodles, meat, sour cream mixture and grated cheese, ending with cheese.
Bake approximately 20 minutes at 350Β° to heat thoroughly.
Best when mixed the day before. Serves eight with seconds.
