Hot Yeast Rolls
Hot Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted flour (sift before measuring), 1 tsp. salt, 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1 c. scalded milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Scald milk.
Add sugar, water, egg and shortening to milk. Make sure shortening is melted and sugar is dissolved.
When milk mixture is lukewarm, dissolve yeast in it.
Combine flour and salt.
Mix in milk and yeast mixture.
Mix well.
Cover with a damp cloth and let set 10 to 15 minutes.
