Hot Wings
Hot Wings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken wings (15 to 20 wings), 1 1/2 sticks margarine, 1/2 c. durkee red hot sauce (nothing else!), 2 or 3 tbsp. tabasco sauce and 1 tbsp. ground cayenne pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Remove wing tips and discard.
Split wings in half at joint. Broil or bake wing sections until almost cooked.
In deep saucepan, melt margarine.
Add Durkee red hot sauce and Tabasco sauce.
Stir in cayenne pepper.
Mix well over medium heat.
Add partially cooked wing sections and simmer, covered, turning once, for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove wings from sauce and serve.
