Hot Rolls
Hot Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 cube oleo, 1 c. milk, divided, 1 egg, 2 tbsp. to 1/2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Use 1/2 cup milk to melt oleo to scald.
Cool slightly, then add to 1/2 cup milk and egg.
Add sugar and salt; mix.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Mix with milk and egg.
Add 3 1/2 cups flour.
Let rise in bowl until double.
Roll out mixture on floured board until 1 1/2 inches thick.
Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on cookie sheet and fold in half.
Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
