Hot Rolls
Hot Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. scalded milk, 1/3 c. sugar, 2 rounded tbsp. shortening, 6-7 c. flour and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Add sugar, salt and shortening to scalded milk; let cool. Dissolve yeast in water.
Add eggs to yeast and shortening mixtures and add flour just enough to make a soft dough.
Let dough rise until double in bulk.
Punch down and let rise again. Shape into rolls.
Let rise until double in size.
Bake at 350Β° 25 to 30 minutes.
