Hot Fruit Salad
Hot Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with canned fruits: pears, peaches, mixed fruit, pineapple, cherries (for color), kirsch liqueur, crushed macaroons or coconut cookies, brown sugar and sliced almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cover bottom of greased casserole with crushed cookies. Alternately layer canned fruits (well drained) with crumbs. Sprinkle with brown sugar over top.
Cover with sliced almonds. Pour Kirsch to taste over top and scatter pats of butter.
Bake at 350Β° until bubbly, about 1 hour.
