Made with 1 (8 oz.) elbow macaroni, 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste, 1 to 2 lb. coarse ground meat, salt, pepper and garlic to taste and 1 small jar jalapeño peppers, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook macaroni according to directions on package (about 5 minutes).
Rinse, drain and return to pot.
Fry ground meat until no longer red.
Drain fat and add meat to macaroni; turn heat to medium-low and stir in tomato paste.
Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour.
