Hot Bacon Dressing
Hot Bacon Dressing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. bacon, diced, 2 large onions, diced, 6 egg yolks, 1 tsp. pepper and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Saute bacon until brown.
Add onions and saute until translucent; drain and set aside.
In mixer bowl, combine egg yolk, salt, pepper, mustard, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and dill weed on medium speed.
Slowly add the oil and blend well. Add bacon and onions.
If too thick, thin the dressing with additional vinegar, adjusting seasonings to proportions.
Serve within 30 minutes; do not store.
Makes approximately 3 cups.
