Hot Apple Slaw
Hot Apple Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. vinegar, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 small apple, diced or finely sliced and 2 tbsp. margarine (polyunsaturated), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt and celery seed in 2-quart glass casserole.
Toss with cabbage and apple slices.
Dot with butter.
Cover with glass lid.
Microwave for 4 to 6 minutes on High or until heated through.
Let stand, covered, 3 minutes. Toss and serve.
Yield
3 to 4 servings.
Nice served with cooked ham slices and Swiss cheese.
